Taking a cruise?
Check your cabin location CAREFULLY
Perhaps an interior cabin is more practical. Why? Because the rates for these cabins are often less than a cabin with a view. A view of what though? A vast expanse of ocean? And you are really not supposed to spend that much time in your cabin! There are a couple of exceptions of course. If, for example you are cruising to Alaska, or perhaps in the Mediterranean, it would be nice to be able to sit on your cabin balcony and watch the landscape go by.
Another tip … review a cabin layout and ask questions. Is the cabin you are considering located near the ships’ laundry room? Stairs? Elevators? Select a cabin that is not a gathering place for people.
